Something magical happens after the lights go out in Jamie’s bedroom at night. He wakes up to find himself in a castle instead of his house. Sometimes taking Slurpo the Spotted Dog with him, he goes out to seek adventure in the forest and fields around the town of Ledbury.
Jamie, Lord of Ledbury, meets lots of different creatures on his travels — some good and others bad.

The Fork in the Road
In this story Jamie, guided by Hoooey the Owl, tries to find the cabin where Growchel the Wicked Witch lives. The only problem is to get there they have to go down the dark, scary path on the left. The path Jamie’s dad told him never to go on.
Also, he’d left his best friend, Slurpo sleeping at home and that might have been a BIG mistake...

A Troubled Troll
In ths new adventure, Jamie, Lord of Ledbury meets Drool the Troll. Now as everyone know, Trolls live in caves, go out at night and eat little boys.
But now Drool. He’s a member of the Reformed Troll Movement (RTM) and they live under bridges, wear sunglasses and are vegetarians. Drool snacks on grass, leaves, organic vegetables, fruits and nuts. His problem is he thinks he should scare people by yelling at them, he smells awful and he has no friends.

Jay Kerr
Jay’s background is in corporate graphic design and writing, during a career of over four decades, he has, at various times and in no particular order, owned a design studio, a typesetting company, an advertising agency and now enjoys a home-based business offering creative solutions in writing and design focused on branding and marketing support materials.
One day his wife called from the kitchen, saying, “Don’t you remember those stories you used to tell Jamie when you put him to bed, why don’t you write them?”
So he did.
